Moynihan Train Hall
Transportation Custom Interface

Moynihan Train Hall

Amtrak — 486,000 sq.ft.

The Challenge

The brand new Moynihan Train Hall, a 486,000 sq.ft. transportation and retail complex set in the historic James A. Farley Post Office, required a custom scheduling interface to accommodate the complex grouping of terminal units throughout the property. COVID restrictions meant most work had to be done remotely.

Our Solution

We developed a custom web-enabled scheduling solution that allows flexible zone-based control at any time of day. The system was delivered on time through remote collaboration during the pandemic, working within limited middleware technologies.

The Results

  • On-time delivery despite COVID restrictions
  • Flexible zone-based scheduling for all terminal units
  • Web-enabled interface for remote management
  • Seamless integration with existing infrastructure

The JACX
Commercial Multi-Tenant

The JACX

Macy's, Bloomingdale's, WeWork — Long Island City — Twin 26-Story Towers

The Challenge

The JACX, twin 26-story mixed-use towers, needed a seamless BMS solution for anchor tenants Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and WeWork with custom interfaces for each tenant. Each tenant required secure, isolated access while building engineers needed central oversight.

Our Solution

We assembled tenant-dedicated hardware setups serving custom-built web interfaces on secure local networks. Integrated overtime systems allow self-service tenant requests while maintaining central oversight for facility engineers.

The Results

  • Secure tenant-isolated BMS interfaces
  • Self-service overtime request system
  • Unified view for building engineers
  • Scalable architecture for future tenants

Bronx Lebanon Hospital
Healthcare AAM Migration

Bronx Lebanon Hospital

The Challenge

During the pandemic, hospitals needed to remain operational 24/7. Bronx Lebanon required an urgent upgrade to their American AutoMatrix infrastructure while maintaining 100% uptime. Budget constraints added additional pressure.

Our Solution

We employed a methodical phased implementation with careful coordination around hospital operations. Every cutover was planned for minimal-impact windows with full rollback capability. SPL programming was extracted and preserved before any hardware changes.

The Results

  • 100% uptime maintained throughout upgrade
  • AAM programming successfully preserved and migrated
  • Budget-conscious phased approach
  • Enhanced system reliability post-upgrade

NOAA Wallops Island
Government Honeywell EBI

NOAA Wallops Island

US Government — Command and Data Acquisition Station

The Challenge

NOAA's Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station had a legacy Honeywell EBI BMS experiencing component failures. They needed a cost-effective upgrade without a complete rip-and-replace. Government procurement cycles added complexity.

Our Solution

We developed a phased integration strategy that preserved existing infrastructure while modernizing critical components. The approach fit within government budgeting cycles and avoided long implementation timelines.

The Results

  • Unified smart building system achieved
  • Existing infrastructure preserved where viable
  • Government budget requirements met
  • Staged upgrades reduced risk

Wine Spectator's Tavern
Hospitality Custom iOS Interface

Wine Spectator's Tavern

Hudson Yards

The Challenge

Wine Spectator's Tavern at Hudson Yards required a custom BMS interface elegant enough for front-of-house use in their upscale restaurant environment. Traditional BMS interfaces were too technical for staff use. The aggressive 6-month timeline added pressure.

Our Solution

We designed and built a custom iOS solution that elevated the occupant experience. Staff can now manage comfort settings from iPads throughout the restaurant with an intuitive interface that matches the venue's aesthetic.

The Results

  • Delivered within 6-month timeline
  • iPad-based comfort control for staff
  • Seamless integration with building systems
  • Enhanced guest experience
